It's such a shame but I think you have. Without a warranty I'd be way too scared.

And you're also right about the 370Z. I love them and keep looking at them but at nearly £500/year tax and under 30mpg, they're not a good choice when you're trying to save money.

Wouldn't buy a Racing myself, unless it was an ab fab deal: IE Near on free LOL.

Maybe take a punt on one with good history, low mileage et al...would only risk 5 or 6 k on an older one.
Maybe bit more with a long bullet proof Citroen warranty.
