Mine too, they're a great car to learn in, and nice for the instructors to drive too.

These days I understand from driving instructors I have spoken with that it's all about the car and not your pass rate that matters!

Definitely noticed alot of high spec small cars being used, I guess it's all about having a car people want to learn in as a rolling advert, even if in some cases it's totally unsuitable there was a brave ADI who had an R53 mini cooper S a few years ago. Just what you need when learning 163bhp to wrestle.

Well its a good thing, it means when the driving instructors come to change theirs for a new DS3, they are plenty of well maintained and cared for DS3s on the 2nd hand market.

Exactly right! When I bought my first car about 25 years ago I bought it from my old driving instructor - it was absolutely immaculate inside and out and ran like a dream having been kept regualrly serviced and maintained. I've bought a couple of 2nd hand cars since then from dealerships or private sellers which were nowhere near as well cared for!

Only thing really with a learner car is the clutch. But frankly I doubt every student has ''clutch issues''

Really? You should post about it, I don't think you've mentioned it before.
