how much oil does your thp/dsport plus use/consume?

Mine used about a litre from new for the first year (12k miles)
For some reason it hasn't used any that Ive noticed in the last 12 months

I check every week on flat ground, after being left for a few hours
Did my own oil change last October, so it gets an oil and filter change every 6 months.

I've had to put in a litre 3 times in 30,000 miles.

Both of mine used 1 ltr in 6000 miles 2012 model and 2014 model.

My 2011 THP doesn't use any.

What I want to know: where is the oil leaking from... Turbo? Piston rings? Valve stem seals?
My wifes 98 crv consumes no measurable amount over 10,000kms.
So by comparison this makes me worry.

I guess if it's just the it's just the turbo, then it's not so much to worry about

Some times mine uses it some times it dont they seem a bit of an odd car with oil

My THP is exactly the same as gaz_dsport. The first year it consumed a significant amount of oil, this year not so much (almost nothing at all)

I read a post by czar that said upto a litre of oil per 1000 miles is acceptable,I put half a litre in twice 2 weeks in succession,touch wood not used any since then,read an article in a magazine years ago that suggested using a bit of oil was not a bad thing keeps the engine lubricated,looking at the bigger picture engine always getting fresh oil from regular top ups lol
