18' DS5 wheels on DS3 => which tires?

Hi, I am gonna put the Carnavalera 18' DS5 wheels on my DS3 and I am not sure which tyres I should use.
I have a friend who tried 215x40 but it was horrible because the wheel is wider than the tire.
Other did ok with 225x40x18, but the total diameter is far higher (616.3 cm 205x45x17 vs 637.2 cm en 225x40x18), which would longer the gear...
So I am thinking on 225x35x18 (614,7 cm), but I am afraid it looks like a 4x4 because I don't want to change the suspension...
