Ive had a DS3 since mid 2011 when I got my Red THP 150- which then was later part exed against a new THP 155 same colour in 2013(Sad maybe- but wanted the upgrade engine. lol)
So DS3s for almost 4 years. How longs is too long for the same car- surely variety is the spice of life- or is it DS3 for the next 10 years?
This was after owning a Ford Focus Ebony edition for 9 years. (Thats sad on reflection )
Before that I changed cars every couple years, (Altho company cars for about 12 years till the Inland revenue came along) and contract lease wasnt like it is today back then- pretty much pay up in full or HP
Wondering whether to stretch my wings a bit and get something faster and subtle, and keep my DS3 as back up, or maybe not keep it and go full scale into something fast for a couple years,
and do a bit of changing around. Seems buying outright nowadays doesnt really help, other than as a bargaining tool to reduce price.
DS3s were few and far between in 2011, now as a popular car which seems to be the making of Citroen (Or DS as it is now) but they're everywhere now it seems, down here in the South.
To keep (DS3) or not to keep is the question. I absolutely love the drive, but reliabilty is the issue outside of warranty.
Certainly prefer to keep the DS3 as a back up, cos my mileage averages about 18000, and always using the Mrs car, which needs organising and can be a problem.
