Grey 17" Bellone Alloy Wheels!

Hello Fellow DS3 owners! I am new to this club so apologies if I am in the wrong forum

I am looking for anyone who has new grey bellone wheels that lives Worcestershire way, who would be happy for me to see their wheels in the flesh!

My story so far.... i have taken delivery of a new DS3 this month, however it arrived with Aphrodite wheels and not the grey bellone wheels on my order. Apologies to anyone who likes the Aphrodite wheels, but I really wanted grey bellone and specifically moondust grey bellone to match my roof. When using the configurator, the grey wheels are actually named Moondust Grey Bellone - though i see from other threads that the configurator isn't always accurate. My supplier is not happy about changing the wheels, but call me awkward if you like(!) but grey bellone wheels are what i ordered and grey bellone wheels are what i want! However, getting to see the grey bellone wheels before they are ordered (if that actually happens) is not easy it seems and even my local Citroen garage can't seem to work out which wheels they would need to order - they have come up with two codes/two versions of grey and none of them moondust - but no picture or actual wheel i can look at.

I am off to another Citroen garage today to see what they can do, but if you are anywhere near Worcestershire and are happy to help out a fellow DS3 owner in need, please let me know...

Welcome, if you ordered grey bellone then thats what your dealer should be getting for you, IMO they have no right to moan as it seems it could be there fault anyway

I definitely wouldn't settle for anything less than you ordered.

I got mine from Preston, and it had white wheels out of the factory, but someone who they sold a car too wanted them. SO before mine was even for sale, they did a wheel swap so the owner got what they wanted and the demo car (now mine) got black bellones.

I think there is also a price difference. Adding the Bellones to a car with the Aphrodite wheels as standard adds £225

So I'm guessing you would have paid the extra for those as an option?

Did you pay for the alloy upgrade on the car and when was it ordered?

As of November last year all DStyle & DSport models come with the Aphrodite wheels and not the Bellone wheel.

I am in the same boat as yourself. I ordered Dsport+ before aphrodite were even available so ordered grey bellone to match grey roof but supplied with black aphrodite what colour of aphrodite were you supplied with?

There were a few alloy supply issues tail end of last year but your dealers should have been checking the orders to see if your cars were effected.

My aphrodite wheels are silver. Are they going to change your wheels for the ones you ordered?

The grey bellone are a free option when ordering a DSire Plus, but the supplier is trying to tell me that this is only an option for the cabriolet! Yet two local Citroen garages have confirmed that the grey bellone are a free option now, and back when i placed my order. I don't have much faith in the supplier.... they managed to mess up my delivery and i was left without a car for 3 days. I have emailed them again with what information i have gathered from the two local Citroen dealers..... lets see what they say! Thank you everyone.

Sounds like they are being awkward. May have to go down the Cuk route. What dealership is it so we can avoid it lol

I think my dealer is trying to fob me off as still waiting to hear back from him as regards wheels. I dont think the aphrodite wheels were ever the default wheels on the dsport+ cabrio and because it is on a contract lease it is not been treated as serious as if buying the vehicle.

^ Yes they are the default wheels but Grey was not an option on DSport+ and this was from November production. Most orders from September onwards would have been rolled.

In regards to the OP was it stated on your order form that the wheels were to be grey? I am not trying to defend the dealer but we need to be clear on what was agreed.

Surely rolling the production date does not matter, should it not be what you ask for at time of ordering?
