New DS3 Model Year 15.5 (now with ghastly rear badge!)

Someone posted a pic of that badge on Instagram and I thought it actually was something someone had done themselves. Crying out loud, that looks absolutely shit. This is supposed to be a premium brand and it looks like they paid a pound a letter at the till of Halfords.

I think it's a money making ploy...badge delete will be appearing on the options list for 100 quid. If you don't select it it's attached to the tail gate with weld and rivets.

It's been a model since day one hasn't it? A bit too tarted up for my tastes, not sure I've ever seen one.

I thought it seemed enivitable that this would happen when I saw a DS 5 badge and agree it lowers the classy look of the rear of the car.

Without adding multiple badges like GTI or TURBO (or even THP) the DS3 has remained aloof to ego badge posturing and this is another reason I like it - especially when I surprise Audi, Mini Cooper and BMW owners!

Yes, I like the 'make the Audi recede in my rear view mirror' ability of mine. It's even funnier in Mrs RT's FIAT when you realise the idiot behind is too busy on the phone and hasn't noticed the scorpion.

Minimal badges do it for me. I'm quite happy with a discreet 'DS' or 'Citroen' but model and engine are needless and I'm not so insecure that I need to tell all and sundry. Now here's the rub, over in Audi and BMW land no badges mean you've bought the base model and want to conceal it. Funny old world.

Good point Red about the BMW owners trying to conceal their model! And hey I was in a dealership the other day and I saw a red and white techno sport and really liked it - though I do love mine too! The glass etching is more subtle in reality to the pictures I have seen.
