  • Phone Holder

    Hi guys,

Just wondering where everybody mounts there phone whilst driving?

I have a bracket mount which sucks to the glass, but no matter where i put it, it seems to be in the way at some point.....

    Any advice/hacks/hints & tips?

I just put mine (iPhone 5) in the cubby in front of the gear stick. I don't need it while driving apart from to stream music and once it's set I can use the car controls to skip songs.

Same here. The cubby is a bit too small but it does the job fine. If I've got something else in there, the phone goes under the handbrake.

That's where mine is, been there over 18 months and tried getting it off but it's on there, it's a great holder, always holds it nice and firm

Apparently this is only good for us paupers that bought DS3s before factory sat nav arrived.

Picked up CD slot mount from Amazon which is ideal given the position of the audio unit.

I've got a Kenu Airframe which I got from Amazon. Air-vent mounted holder which is discreet and doesn't leave big marks on your windscreen like those suction mounts do. In a good position for sat navving. Only problem is that you need to either have the vent switched off or the air flow on 'auto', otherwise you've got hot air coming straight at the mount and your phone. I've yet to find a perfect solution.
