boot mat

I have just wondering if anyone has this problem with their boot mat/liner. I get dye on my hands every time i touch it, it looks like an original liner, the car is two year old.
Debating to buy a new one or will that be the same.

I don't get dye on my hands with mine, have you removed it and looked at the back of the boot liner ? Is there an obvious stain or is the mat damp ?

Never had or heard of that problem. Sound like the previous owner did something to it. Spilled something on it then maybe tried to dye it black again?

Yeah i had it out to check for stains ect. nothing obvious, it has Citroen label and part number on back, colour is coffee however it looks black to me and it has a longish pile, maybe it has been dyed to mach the interior. i think im off for a replacement.

i should point out that it is the actual boot carpet not a replacement mat.
