New Ds3 owner - should I buy this personalised plate?

Hi all,

So either tomorrow or Wednesday I'll be picking up my 63 plate DS3 Dstyle Plus 1.6 vti petrol Cabrio in lovely polar white with infinity blue roof and door mirrors.

I've never wanted a personalised plate before but reading these forums has given me inspiration.

So can you tell me what you think to this this plate?

DS63 CAB

or maybe

DS63 CAR but that £300 more

Both are cool but I agree with Kev, DS63 CAB suits the car more IMO.

If it were me I'd pick CAB as well for obvious reasons, I assume you're not planning to take it with you to your next car whenever that might be ? If not the CAB seems perfect....

Go for it, I got my better half DS03 ANJ which she loves but I just kept the one I've had for ages

There are lots of 'DS03' plates available but I guess I still want it to be seen as a '63' plate not as an '03' plate, a bit snobbish I know!

I was initially worried that I am too old for this car as I will be 44 soon but I also have an '06' plate MX5 and if I'm too old for the DS3 im definitely too old for the MX5 but there is no way I am selling her so decided to go for it.

Well I just need to save up £400 for the 'CAB' plate as when I come to sell the car the plate will be going with it.

Are we allowed to talk prices on here as I think I got the DS3 for a great price and wanted your thoughts?

So long as you're not buying or selling on the forum, that shouldn't be an issue.

If you look on DVLA registrations page you will find this.
AD53 CAB which would read as A D53 CAB for only £250.
I personally think this would be better than either of the ones you mentioned.
