I am not a fan of auto-wipers. It seems the stalk control on my DS3 goes straight from intermittant to auto, with no '0' as marked on the stalk itself. Is there some way of switching off the auto wipers or am I just missing something and being stupid ?

No, it will take a swipe up becuase you have pushed the stalk up. But that's it from then on. They are off if on 0
One push down puts auto back on again.
When I first got this DS3 I would push the stalk up, auto would go off, it would do one wipe, so I'd push it down and auto would come on and repeat......
This is all with it set to 0

It's no DS3Club secret that I am quite special. I was going to offer top record it now for you..... then I realised it would need to be raining for this to work.....

I probably got the explanation wrong but mine does it like this: the single wipe mode (stalk down, comes back up on it's own) activates auto mode. The stalk is now in 0 (auto mode ON). To deactivate auto mode put the stalk up (intermittent mode) and the return it to 0, now auto mode is OFF.
