    Is it me or has anybody who owns a whisper purple ds3 noticed that it scratches very easily ????

    Yep...although it came up nice with autoglym super resin polish, found quite a few Scuffs and scratches. Dark colours in general are very susceptible to scratches and swirling, or at least it's much more obvious.

      Ah I see my mum has a dark grey leon and my dad's had dark blue 75 and a black sante fe the rover was terrible but sante fe was great hardest wearing colour and mums leon is fantastic aside from wear and tear lol

        Silvers and gun metals are usually the hardest wearing, and even if they are scratched it hides it well, anything with a deep shade tends to hang a lantern on any damage. Blacks are hit an miss it depends on how hard the clear coat is.

          Try the AutoGlym Ultra Deep Shine, it's made for dark colours, bring the C6 up a treat..

            Yeah cheers guys think il try some of that for now if I change for diesel I may get white or grey with purple roof

              the best thing to cover up the scratches on the dark colored cars is poor boys black hole just make sure its waxed after

                My black is v susceptible to scratches - I wash/polish v carefully now

                  I've just applied Ultra Deep Shine to my 3 week old Whisper purple baby. Applied it to the chromes bits as well, seem to work a treat with these too. Everything fine, but found my first bonnet stone chip It's minor but I'm c**p at repairing those sort of things, so was wondering if anyone could recommend a local ChipsAway type firm locally. I'm between Aldershot and Woking.
