    Is there a sensor inside the car. As my wife said the alarm was going off by its self this morning. I have no idea as yet to why this happened. Hopefully it was a one off glitch.

    Two sensors, little things on a a-pillar near the top.
    Ultrasonic movement sensors.

    Sounds like it could be faulty from a bad connection, or interference.

      Or a spider!!
      A large moth was causing this in ours, found it asleep in the boot lol

        If you have two remote control keys then you will most likely have the volumetric alarm which detects motion inside the car, problem is that a large car/lorry or even wind can set it off.
