  • Pollen filter

Whilst cleaning blossom from off a neighbour, s tree, that had got down the vents on the plastic panel between the bonnet and windscreen. I noticed the pollen filter there on the drivers side. But how the heck do you remove it. Short of removing the wiper arms and completely removing the black panel just mentioned I don't know how it would otherwise come out. Any replaced theirs, if so how did you get it out.

If you look closely the black plastic panel forward of the filter has a door in it which folds down.

Not the easiest of jobs however to get both filters - there are two - in place correctly.

Cheers for that. Much appreciated. Not much space to work in though is there.

Cheers foretaste. Looks like the wiper arms "etc" gave to come off. Now I know where we are going.

Have you done a search on YouTube? I saw a couple of vids on there and they made it look dead easy...

Nothing has to be taken apart other than removing the "door" that StevieB mentions. If you look at that pic on the other thread the front of the filter that sticks out(will be right behind the door) the plastic frame folds down so you can slide the filter out. Then slide the other filter over and pull it out. Reverse with new filters and go have a coffee.
