  • Thinking of a DS3 Dsport Model help!!!

    Hi Guys,

Been looking at DS3 for a while but need to confirm info on the DSport 110 diesel models

When browsing on auto trader the mpg stats for the DSport e-HDI 2012 model are Combined 74mpg. But the 2010-2011 DSport is much lower at 62 or something.

Are these engines updated and truely better mpg wise than the older 110 engines? Can't find much 'Official' PSA info on the difference.

I'd go for the e-HDI 115 but they seem to be out my price range...

    Any recommendations welcome!

    Cheers
    Mikey.

The MPG on the two diesel engines are virtually the same, the main difference was really the stop/start unit.

Most people tend to average around 50-55 from the diesel in most day to day situations.

this - get around 53 just doing regular commutes to & from work (A Road/M4)

From full to Quarter tank is normally about 400 miles.

For my 61 ehdi 110 a full tank for me will last around 450miles before the light comes on. I've worked out roughly one notch on the fuel gauge is around 40 miles for my regular driving anyway which only consists of 10 minutes of small back round and 5 minutes in town

Here's some of my mpgs on my 115 diesel.

All one journey/trip out. The last one was Manchester, Herts, Lydden Hill, Norfolk, Bolton.

OK so 2012+ ones all have Start/stop and £0 tax? Think in this would be my best bet. There doesnt seem to be any difference between the 110 vs 115?

Yep, stop start and no road tax.

Apart from bhp there isn't any spec difference as far as I'm aware.

Try and find a Dsport plus if you can. Will come with some extras as standard. I have auto wipers and lights plus reversing sensors.

The 115 might have the 3d rear lights, I'm not 100% sure on this though

I think the cross over was somewhere in late 2012 Pete, November time maybe ? Obvs older stock would still have been on forecourts then so you'd need to look them over. My 2012 DS3 had the original rear lights like yours, the 2013 one came with the 3d rear lights
