  • Bits and bobs - questions, so help needed!

OK so i have just ordered my white edition. I just have a few questions please!
Firstly do all DS3's have the same suspension set up or does the sport version have a different set up?
Secondly, how does the mood lighting work? what does it do?
Thirdly, do all DS3's have the same leather steering wheel?
Fourthly, what is the standard stereo sound like?
Fithly, does the white edition have bluetooth?
Next, i have seen ds3 mats on ebay from a citroen dealer for £31 delivered, does anyone know any cheaper?
erm, is there a i pod port?
If I think of anything else i will ask,
    cheers paul

I can offer an opinion on one point - standard stereo absolutely fine in my opinion.

Mood lighting.....it is lamps that lights up each foot-well, plus another in the centre consul, comes on with the lights and is dimmable via a control on the dash.

Steering wheel .... Dsign has aluminium effect inserts, the rest have chrome, all are leather.

To my ears (knackered as they are) the stereo is perfectly ok..others will disagree no doubt
      .
White DOES NOT have bluetooth, nor a dedicated Ipod port, it does have a 3.5mm jack socket just behind the handbrake, along with the power socket (no cigarette lighter)

Mats..try the Carmatfactory...we can get a discount there, or try John Nicol (Our tame parts manager)

All of the DS3 range is supposed to have "sports suspension", other than the DS3R I don't think that there is any difference.

There are a couple of add-ons that will give bluetooth, usb, Ipod, all depends on what is important, if in doubt ASK, someone here will know

I thought the DSport was differently set up? My THP certainly feels firmer & more taught round the twisty bits than the petrol DStyle I tried (although I guess that could be down to the different wheel/tyre combo?).

Sports versions and the Black & Whites have 17" wheels with low profile tyres, the rest have 16" wheels, not sure what tyres, but I doubt they are low profile

Firstly do all DS3's have the same suspension set up or does the sport version have a different set up? All Same Apart From The DS3R... Just In Case Anyones Interested Its The Exact Same Setup As A Peugeot Car We All Know And Hate lol...
Secondly, how does the mood lighting work? what does it do? Whenever You Turn On Your Main Headlamps 3 Bulbs Come On With An Orange Glow - 2 under the Main Footwells, 1 Under the Centre Console...
Thirdly, do all DS3's have the same leather steering wheel? As John Said Above - The DSign Has The Basic Leather Steering Wheel While The DStyle + DSport Have Chrome Inserts, The DS3R Has A Carbon Fibre Insert...
Fourthly, what is the standard stereo sound like? Depends If You've Opted For The Hi-Fi System - As That Will Sound Better...
Fithly, does the white edition have bluetooth? Again It Depends On If You've Ordered The Hi-Fi System...
Next, i have seen ds3 mats on ebay from a citroen dealer for £31 delivered, does anyone know any cheaper? Carmat factory Are On This Forum And Gives Discount To Members Mate...

Unfortunately Zack has failed to ready the original post......PaulJack has ordered a "White"...........Its is a special edition and there are NO options, you Can't order Hi-Fi, or Sat-Nav, what you get is what is listed in the brochure . http://www.citroen.co.uk/Resources/C...n-brochure.pdf

Now we know where Tony's leather seats went.................seriously I don't know how he managed that, having said that, looking at the configurator you can effectively create a "White" lookalike with the options that you want. (at a cost)
All I was trying to say is that if you go to a dealer and order a White Edition (as per the sales brochure) then there are NO options.

I know its a special edition but it would have been nice to be able to add bluetooth and the hi fi upgrade. To get these I guess I would have had to upspeck a dstyle?
