Help with buying post 05/2015 DSport

Hi, now we have the 05/2015 versions available I'm looking at buying a new DSport and would appreciate some help. Prior to the 05/2015 revisions the options I wanted weren't available and I'm hoping I can now get what I've put below - some of what I've put is based on the June 2015 DS3 Brochure and June 2015 Price List Brochure so hopefully I've interpreted these correctly.

Haven't fully decided on the colour combination yet but would appreciate views / advice on the following:-

1. Will the car come with the HiFi system as standard or do I need to request this as an option?
2. I'm looking to add the eMyWay and Reversing Camera option - prior to 05/2015 I believe this wasn't compatible with the HiFi system and therefore automatically removed it. Can I now have the HiFi System, eMyWay and Reversing Camera?
3. Does the addition of the eMyWay and Reversing Camera remove or add anything from the 'standard' In-Car Entertainment package / Connecting Box?
4. If I have MP3s on a USB device which have been 'tagged' what does this look like (folder structure and artist / song name etc) on the 7 inch screen?
5. Is the 7 inch screen now 'Touchscreen'?
6. Is the radio DAB? If not can it be requested - I'd ideally like it to be fully integrated without the need for any additional devices / controllers etc.
7. The DS3 Price Brochure shows only the DSire has Rear Parking Sensors (DSport apparently does not) whereas the DS3 Brochure shows the DSport has rear parking sensors - does a DSport now have rear parking sensors? By adding the Reversing Camera to a DSport what exactly do you get and does it change / add / remove any parking sensors?
8. I'm undecided on the wing mirror colour - can I request these as body colour, roof colour or chrome?
9. What is the 'Faubourg' pack shown as a £500 option in the Price List brochure?
10. If I add the 'Black Leather' pack this is apparently 'Leather Trim and Gear Nob'. What exactly do you get - leather seats, gear nob? Does anything else change
11. Are there any pictures anywhere of the different colour leather pack options - 'Black', 'Blue & Black' and 'Grey & Black' - I've been to quite few garages and can't find any 05/2015 models with leather packs.
11. I've seen lots of pictures which show the centre console dials (temp etc) with white illumination. We already have a 2014 DSport Plus and the illumination is orange. If i want white do I need to request it?
12. What colour is the interior mood lighting? Can it be white to match the above dash illumination?
13. I want a 'Carbon' effect dash - is this still available on the new DSport and does it come as standard or will I need to request?

Apologies for asking so much and also asking some questions which are answered in the brochures however, after speaking to and exchanging emails with various garages and Citroen direct, I have quite a variance in responses to the above - hopefully you guys can help?

All advice is based on my memory so may not be 100%

All DSports should come with the upgraded HiFi system as standard.

It should be possible, but best to confirm with your dealer. Some users have looked at updating their standard headunits with the MyWay and eMyWay and it can be quite expensive.

eMyWay shouldn't result in the loss of any other features. The MyWay system however will mean you lose bluetooth functionality for audio streaming and the built-in USB port.

Simple track listings. If I recall correctly, the DS3 doesn't support sub-sub-folders meaning you'll have to put all your music in sub-folders below the root directory, such as: Album1, Album2, etc..

Pre-2015 the screen is controlled by a small knob below the screen, it isn't touchscreen.

Unsure. I don't believe so.

Best to confirm with your dealer before purchase, I can't recall if mine were an additional extra.

Not as standard, your options would be chrome or to match the roof colour. You can quite easily wrap or replace the existing mirror caps if you really wanted to.

Special edition colour, have a quick google for "Faubourg DS3" for examples.

Leather seats, leather door liner and a leather gear knob.

11. Are there any pictures anywhere of the different colour leather pack options - 'Black', 'Blue & Black' and 'Grey & Black' - I've been to quite few garages and can't find any 05/2015 models with leather packs.

These were changed on later models to be white. These can't be changed without some fairly difficult DIY.

Orange for the footwells and console. The bulb is white but the cover for the light is amber, you'll need to find replacement covers somewhere if you want to change this.

Use the car configurator and see if this option is still available.


I hope this is of some use. For more concise answers, why not nip into your dealers and have a look around one of their newer models and get your requests in writing?

That's partly my problem. I've been to a few dealers and have had different answers - the bit about writing is not a bad idea but my problem is that I'm ordering this through work as we have a contract with Lex which means new cars are heavily discounted. The downside is that I have to tell them the exact spec and they have no liability etc if it's not how I wanted it.

If anyone else has any views I'd more than welcome some more input on whether the above is possible on a brand new model.

Dangerousfish, how sure are you about point 3? I can't quite believe Citroen would remove bluetooth streaming and the USB port if I chose the eMyway and reversing camera option.
