60th DS Event Week-end

Just as a general enquiry, did anyone attend their local dealerships DS event? Did you test drive the new models of the DS range and recieve one of the incentives? (Hotel Stay, Spa Day, Tea Afternoon)

This goes for the salesman on here too! Did you find the event a sucess?

Got an invite but did not bother going

Although WTF did go down to Sale Manchester to get some pics of the car they had in.

I got a letter from the dealer we bought our DS from, signed by someone calling himself the "DS Champion".

DS Champion? More like BS Champion!

Didn't go - I really have better things to do with my time than attending a so-called "event".

The reason I am posting is that we went to the event (wifey and I) as she's loved the DS since it came out. We were looking at a DStyle NAV + Options but, saw the Ink Blue Anniversary edition and the wife fell in love with it, so - we pick it up Saturday!

It didnt seem like the event was much of a success though, quiet and understated - we didnt attend because we had heard about it, we just coincidentally wanted to test drive the DS3

Ended up a more expensive Saturday than I had planned!

Welcome along ,was in the dealers Saturday didn't realise anything was on.

yes me and Lisa went to our local citroen dealer in Preston after receiving our letter/invite , the new DS models looked very nice, we took out the new DS5 and i must say i really liked it and my wife Lisa fell in love with it .
we may be changing up the DS3 in january for a DS5 and i will be looking at picking up a second hand DS3 for myself. we took advantage of the free weekend break away which the salesman said we should receive in the next 30 days i also asked the salesman " called Carlos" how many other people have took advantage of this offer and he replied that we were the only one he had seen and it was 12:30 lunch time .

I had a letter from Preston, no phone call to book me in for a test drive.

I was unwell at the weekend anyway, so my plans to pop in went out the window. Liam took care of me though, popped me on the sofa with a can of monster.....
