Alloy warranty

Hey guys
Just read something about the original alloys being under warranty if the alloys lacquer starts to peel.
Is this correct?

Well my car is a 62 plate like yours, and I had all 4 wheels replaced for free. The area that is a known issue, is if you have bubbling around the centre caps. It can be a bit hit or miss depending on the dealer, but what you need to do is to ask the dealer to send pictures of each affected wheel to CUK. Good luck!

the dealer I had mine done at last week was sure that they would get them refurbished - it's only when I specifically asked for replacements they did do the whole new set.

I started the ball rolling on my claim beginning of april.

My 62 plate has it's manufacturer's warranty up in november - when does your manufacturer warranty end?

wheels come under the main warranty - if you've made any mods that void the warranty . . . .

I have the same issue. I popped into my local dealer and they said they only cover for corrosion. If there was corrosion they would replace them easily. I asked what happens in a couple of years when it's out of warranty but starts corroding because the lacquer has come off. Was told to see what happens for a bit as still got a bit left on the warranty
