Received my letter today confirming my car has left the factory and is on it's way here.

Order date was Feb 10th for a DStyle 90 in sport red with a white roof.

Can't wait to start teaching in it.Will be the first learner's DS3 in the Highlands.

Yes John sitting here at home because of the snow.

But hope by the time I get car the snow will be long gone.

Question what is the DS like in snow.

There were some people who had issues in the snow (me as well) but it seems to be mainly the DS3's that are shod with 17" alloys and Bridgestone Potenza tyres.

I think that your Dstyle will come with 16" wheels and have no idea what tyres so really can't make a valid judgement on what yours will be like, suffice to say that you have a greater tyre choice with 16" wheels

I could be wrong but i think the 16" wheels come with Michellin's. The Potenzas arent the best on snow but if you like drifting its OK

Another adi with a DS3! You'll love it, a great all round teaching car. I've a THP 150 which I've been using mine for my PDI training and am taking my Part 3 next Friday.

Mitchelin energy savers are great tyres and brill for economy. Are all 17inchers shod with Bridgestones?

We had over 8 inches of snow during the winter and our DS3 DSport was fine, no slip, no getting stuck, no dramas.

Thats true mine never got stuck. Mainly coz there was no way i was gonna let the learners near it and the fact i didn't dare try to get it through the 2ft of snow on my drive. Even my freelander grumbled :0)

Mine never had a problem in the snow either. I think it may be depending on how worn they are
