As I've mentioned many times, really dislike that grill. From that article it looks like a 'Sport' is unlikely as it mentions a 207bhp model and a 128bhp model but nothing between (unless the black edition is a 165?)

I guess it depends on how much they continue from the current line: http://www.ds3club.co.uk/showthread....-Model-Year-16

Would rather have 207bhp than 165bhp though, so either is good

All depends how much they will be asking for it, probably close to £30k which even with an attractive grill would make it, in my view, far too expensive if there is nothing to fill a void left by a sport type model.

If it's £30k I'd be surprised if they sell any, 'premium' or not. For that money you could get a Focus RS with 345bhp.

            "There will be also be 81, 108 and 128bhp 1.2-litre petrol engines and a 163bhp 1.6."

I know, as mentioned nothing between the 128 and 207 in a petrol. The 163 is a diesel.

Exactly, they say they wont price drop but they do want a higher quality car and more exclusivety, that suggests the car may retail for more than the Racing, maybe more than the convertible Racing which was about £30k.

No it's not. It's all about punctuation!

Diesels will be the familiar 1.6 BlueHDi engine with a choice of 99 and 118bhp outputs."

You must be reading that on an iPhone 6, that full stop is near non existent on my phone.

I'm reading it on PC. And for me, it's there. Doesn't matter, now we know there will still be a sporty DS3. The THP lives on! If that's good news remains to be seen..

It wont be living on my drive, not unless that sort that grill out.

If the 203hp petrol is a THP, not sure the enthusiasts will have the faith
But will wait n see no doubt

DS Range - updates, info and rumours

Interested to see if this is properly revealed in the coming weeks. I'm off to Geneva in March so if it's there I'll have a good look round it!

My worry with the whole DS thing (still) is that Citroen have rushed the brand's separation to stand alone. It took Audi much longer to define their place in the market and a lot of people still don't know that DS is a standalone brand now. I think it's in danger of becoming just another luxury brand, rather than being backed up by the design flair of old Citroens (of which I still think there is plenty in the DS3).

Many attribute the roof to MINI and accuse Citroen of being copycat, but I'd say the floating roof of the DS3 is actually down to the original DS, together with the shark fin and trapezoidal grille (though the trapezoidal grille was more pronounced on later GS and CX models). The latest DS face lifts resemble their heritage less and less, and that's my slight concern. I'll reserve judgement for the final reveal.
