DS3 1955 Edition Numbered dash badge

Hi everyone,

Picked up my DS3 1955 Edition yesterday and am loving it. Smashing car in every respect. One puzzling thing is that my car had a numbered badge on the dash panel when it was in the showroom that was missing when I picked the car up. When I enquired about this I was told that DS cars had recalled the badges and that I would be getting a certificate through the post. This all seems rather puzzling to me but may just be an enchantingly gallic foible. Anyone heard anything about this as my usual internet rooting has drawn a blank.

I heard they recalled the numbered badge but I'm not sure why.

The badges were peeling from the dashboard, plus they looked cheap and us dealers told DS Auto so!

Most were used for 'PUG' or 'TURBO'
