Selling the DsS3....

I'm awaiting delivery of my new car due late October, but I have the trouble of selling my DS3 before the end of the PCP (31st December). Was only offered 6k part ex hence this route.

It's a dstyle plus vti 120 with 27500 miles and 4 small scuffed alloys.

Anyone have experience of selling cars privately? Webuyanycar seem to offer peanuts. Handing it back, citroen seem to charge for stone chips even so that's a no go. Anyone ever had any luck going around local dealers and sold to them? Wondering if I would get a decent price that way. Any other suggestions on getting the best possible price?

Part ex'd mine in at a Hyundai dealer owned by BCC group to help the mother buy a new car for herself. Ring around a few different dealers and see if any of them want it off you.

Try an independent Citroen dealer Instead of a franchise. All the franchises are interested in is selling a new car to you and the corporate line seems to be not wanting money tied up and finance managers saying stock levels are too high.
An independent wil more likely have a sales manager who is allowed to make a decision.
Selling privately is an option but as most buyers at this price are likely to need finance and want warranties so it makes the selling into the trade less aggro.
