110 DSport -carbon fibre or shiny black dash?

Just your sensible thoughts please on whether to opt for the £150 shiny black dash over the standard carbon fibre look in a 110 DSport with lama/mistral (black/white to you an me) leather interior.

I'm so torn as I do like the shiny black, but worry that it might show up scratched/grease/dust easily -that and it cost more on a DSport.

I know it's a personal decision, but with your help I might be swayed one way or the other! :cool:

Why not opt for a white dash?

Rather depends on the body colour, but the white dash does lighten the interior of the car.

I'm also very very tempted, but I think I really want the MyWay (I like the look of it there even if it's a bit of a ball ache to use)! I could be converted though.

That's what I thought, although I don't have anything other than a brand new showroom one I sat in to go on.

Would agree that the Shiny black will show the dust up more, but it really comes down to what you fancy. We have the white dash and it looks ace, a real statement piece inside the car but I know show think that it's too bright.

I opted for the shiny black dash over the carbon fibre. I think it looks great and I like that it matches the finish of the centre consol (around the radio, air con etc). That said it is a dust magnet.

another one for carbon fibre... the black gloss marks too easily and i think the carbon breaks the whole 'plasticy' look up

Carbon Fibre is the nicest to keep clean i guess...i got it in Carbon Fibre but wouldnt have minded having it in black.
