    Recall on engine map?

    Hi guys long time since i've been on here.

    Just got the THP serviced the other day and the Service receptionist said there was a recall on the engine ECU map to fix rough idling and flat spots.

    I can't see the so called recall being that, though with all the emissions scandal going on with other Car manufacturers, it would put it past PSA to adjust the engine map accordingly.
    I don't have much else regarding the information is true or not and this may have been released some time ago and my car had been missed or it was less than a year ago.

    I've have noticed the car runs much better hen cold now and seems to oull slightly better.

    I also added so Archoil 6400 Pro petrol cleaner since reading some good reviews.

    Interesting this. I have noticed a rough idle on my car and after having it de-coked under warranty I just accepted it as part of the engine. May call up tomorrow and enquire about this!

      My DS is about to go in for Mot and service in the next week or two. Would this service if done by a Citroen dealer remove the map (from SPT) I currently have?

        If there are updates available for your software, then yes, they will overwrite the remap. Sorry to be bearer of bad news. If you are in warranty then they are obliged to update the software, and if you are out of warranty just tell them not to update. But then to a degree u R letting the cat out the bag

        They overwrote my SPT map twice! Gave up after that.

              I must say since Citroen dealership applied this to the car, its has been running pretty good. Shame the Car is going today, though someone else may benefit from the upgrade in software i guess.
