  • DS3 Change

I currently have a DS3 Racing, and was looking for another car, just out of curiosity. Test drove a Ford Fiesta ST, and all I can say is that I don't like it. Power delivery is smoother , not as much turbo lag, but it was uncomfortable and the ride was very harsh, even when you compare it to mine!

So ST, is definitely out the window just thought I'd say

I've always wondered what it's like to drive ST thanks for saving me a test drive. I find my hdi 90 uncomfortable on long drives so St must be bad.
    Bwaaahhhhhh and Pshhttt erryday!

(Current) THP 155 Black & White. White Racing Decals (+2 bhp each)

(Past) E-HDI Airdream 115 Black. Orange Racing Decals (+2 bhp) - K&N Panel Filter (30bhp+)
    E-HDI Airdream 90 White & Black. Full Racing Decals (+2 bhp) - K&N Panel Filter (30bhp+)

Glad to help, it's things like this that make this forum a great place

Seriously though, I never have issues on long journeys. When I first got my DS3, I spent 20-30 mins adjusting my seat and thinking I got it perfect, went on a longer journey and after an hour, pain in the middle of my back. Pulled into services and adjusted it again, never had an issue since.

The DS3 im picking up tomorrow has the leather Dsport seats where mines a dstyle plus and i think they are much comfier so should be easier to get "adjusted"

Might wanna look at the Peugeot 208 GTi Prestige - or GTi by Peugeot Sport. I did and never looked back Also the Peugeot 308 GTi is a nice contender.

How are you finding it compared to a DS3? I think they look nice, just don't know if they have the same engine issues?

The Engine is revamped, and has had various things added to to improve it overall stability shown here: http://www.ds3club.co.uk/showthread....05-208-210-PDF

As regards to comparing it to my DS3 DSport Plus, well its far better. quieter, more power, better fuel economy, more built in features, and handling is much more better.

Extra features include - Heated Seats, SatNav, Full Sized Alloy spare wheel, Panoramic Glass roof, Cornering Fog Lights, Start Stop Technology.

click on the link in my signature if you want some Pictures.

Overall, I cannot as yet fault the 208. its a great drive.
