Gready Citroen dealer Howards in Weston Supermare!

Have ordered my ds3 white edition with a dealer from Birmingham, was in Bristol this weekend and went to Weston Supermare, where I called in the Citroen dealership to show my mate the DS3. They had in 5 white edtions some defo diesel which is the one i ordered. I have had to put in a factory order and wait 8 weeks! I dont think its fair a dealership is allowed to have at least 4 unregistered cars sitting there when I am waiting 8 weeks for a factory build. Greedy in my opinion!

Bit off the main topic - but I went to a wedding in Lincoln and was too hung over to drive back straight away, so in the way into the city to do a bit of mooching about, I spotted Citroen dealership and HAD to stop and show my B/F the DS3 I'd been going ON and and ON about. Just had to stop and show it off!

I was awful! I saw my friend at the garage last week, and hadn't seen him since actually having WTF, so I said 'oh! You havent seen my car!!' 'Yes I have he said' Turns out he was one of the poor sods I had drunkenly shown photo's of the DS3 too.

I squeak everytime the Top Gear Mag car of the year ad comes on!

You might have a wait, but it will be worth it!

Cos i bought mine via the net plus i dont want to lose my £500 deposit. One positive is that bristol will have loads of white editions and Lincoln wont lol

My point is taking up the standing stock to have it sitting outside a dealership is a waste isnt it? Especially when other people want them!

not sure being face to face would have made any difference, my dealer had no stock and other garages had allocated the standing for themselves!

As for the bristol dealer! Guess that is City motors? did he tell you that you had the last one? if so there might be a porky somewhere as he told my partner yesterday that he had 3 left!

My thread was about whether dealers should be allowed to allocate themselves stock that just sits in their compound when other people have to wait and get a factory order?

Bought my car from Howards weston ,they have several Ds3 on the forecourt in many different colours .do not know why any one has to wait for a white.The dealers have been flooded with them.Easy option for citroen one basic color mass produced.
