                  I think people know that 'mpg' values don't mean anything but you use them to compare to other cars as they are all calculated the same way.

                    Nobody will ever achieve the same single mpg figure - it's down to how the person drives as well as the car. I get between 65 and 78 mpg out of my DS3 and I'm happy with that.

                      As you say it will always differ, I only get 60+ mpg (over a full tank) on motorway driving, current average over 1000 miles is 52mpg, this normally rises a bit in the warmer months and I should add that my AC is on 100% of the time.

                        God not this argument again....

                        There should be no issue if people took the time to actaully understand how the numbers in the brochures are produced and why.
