  • Foam puncture kit replacement

Hi, have recently found out how useless the foam puncture kit is place of a spare tyre. Unfortunatly i hit a massive pot hole at speed and ended up with a tear in the sidewall. Obviously the foam kit done hardly anything and was coming out of the tear. With no other option as i was in an area far from home i had to drive on the wheel to a tyre shop 10 minutes before closing luckily.

I am not looking to replace the foam kit and i want either a space saver that i know will fit under the boot liner or ideally a full size steel wheel or alloy as i will be driving abroad later in the year and would fill more comfortable having a full size spare. Can any one tell me if a full size wheel fits under the boot liner and if anyone knows a good place i can get the jack kit and wheel as not having much luck on ebay.

    Thanks

Don't think it does only the space saver which will do the job.

Full size wheel will fit in the boot hole but will raise the liner a few inches.

As above, you choose practicality (full sized alloy but boot looks rubbish) or the space saver wheel and restricted speed whilst using it
