I drove the 90 and the 110 back in 2012 when first looking at the DS3 and much preferred the drive/power/torque of the 1110. I'm not sure how the differences play out with these two models but for me cyclone nailed this when he suggested you test drive one of each to see which you prefer
If you reduce the deposit then you will pay more monthly.
Normally if you pay PCP then if you intend to buy the car you pay a higher deposit and keep your monthly payment low. If you intend to change it then a lower deposit is best but you pay a slightly higher monthly price.
You could look everywhere but you can bet once you get it you will see what looks a cheaper deal.
Also if its a factory build be prepared for a bit of a wait I ordered mine on the 1st March. My dealer says I should get it middle of this month as it has now been built since 21st April.
I owned the 82 VTi for 2 and a half years. In that time I never met anybody else with the same engine. In all honesty it's fine. You only notice the lack of power when you're carrying more than one passenger or lots of weight in the boot, also don't expect to be able to overtake on A and B roads otherwise it's surprisingly nippy and it's got a great engine note.
One thing I would say though is that the fuel economy really isn't great, the engine really could have benefitted from a turbocharger, you'll find yourself revving it higher and changing gear later to keep up.
I'm not sure if its the best deal, maybe I should reduce the deposit?
With PCP and deposit you have to bear in mind that you will need a similar amount at the other end in order to "go again" at the same sort of monthly payments. Sometimes it's better to reduce to the deposit while keeping the monthly at a comfort level.
Also by far the biggest value to get right is the mileage as that figure effects everything on a PCP.
Not trying to be the harbinger of doom but being in this job for as long as I have I've seen plenty of PCP deals that where not set-up correctly, had a lad in the other day who put down nearly £8k deposit on a fiesta ST and wondered why the DS3P was so expensive, it's because he didn't have the £8k again.
...I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
I managed to change the engine to the 110 with the turbo. I've left my deposit as is, I know after three years when I give the car back I won't have as much of a deposit as I did this time but I should be better finically hopefully. Came to £179 a month with gap insurance, just waiting on when I can get the car, I imagine there will be a bit of a wait. Still I've wanted a DS3 for years now so I can't wait to have one

While gap insurance is a great idea and I definitely recommend it for anyone on finance, please don't forget you don't have to buy it from the dealer.
Shop around and you might get a better deal. I got mine from ALA and they credited me when I swapped cars too.

I didn't know this! Unfortunately I've already agreed to the Citroen one, its only £9 a month though. Gonna go through topcashback for the insurance so hopefully will be able to save a bit of money there.
