630 is my best, and I usually bottle out when it says I can do about 30 more miles, so I don't actually know how empty it is.

According to the manual, fuel tank capacity is approx: "50 litres (petrol), 46 litres (Diesel) or 33 litres (LPG)". The fuel light comes on when you have 5 litres remaining in the tank.

Using these numbers and brimming the tank, you can work out approx how much was left. I think the most I've ever filled in my petrol THP was 48.5 litres (Biggy will remember that time ).

46 ? Oh I thought mine was 48, that would help the mpg a bit if it were 46 litres

I put 50 in my 90bhp diesel the other day!! I'll try and find the receipt. I was astounded! unless I have a hole in it.

Just what is currently listed in the manual, I'm sure Biggy will confirm the actual numbers.

I thought it used to be 48 too, maybe it was in the older models?
I'm sure I've put at least 45 in and I've never been down to "zero blocks" in the fuel guage.

I got 64 mpg on 700 mile round trip earlier this week in my eHdi 80. Averaging over 50mph (mostly steady 70 on cruise control) [emoji106]

What was left on the gauge? I filled our 90bhp diesel up from no bars on the fuel gauge, flashing fuel light, screen in the middle saying "fuel level too low" and 10 miles range on the computer and only fitted 43 and a bit litres in.

It was definitely running on fumes or air.......and it was supreme diesel. So getting a good 510 520 on a normal fill up to fill up.

Did my first refill today at 1004 km (624 miles) and put in 46 liters. Computer said 4,7l/100 km (50mpg); hand calculation says 4,6l/100 km (51mpg).

I got nearly 300 miles from 25 quid. Which is good for me since I do little miles per day

I managed this one the other day.

It's quite optimistic, of course, but it will be some time before I can prove it
