Filled up to the brim with diesel two weeks ago. Arrived home tonight 890 miles later and 30 miles distance remaining according to the trip computer and an average of 78.8!

I usually average about 450 miles before fuel light comes on, but that's a mix of b roads, dual carriage way and town driving. Long distance I managed 300 miles to a quarter of a tank.

Good work I never got anywhere near 78mpg on a tank, best was trips to Liverpool and back where I was in the mid 60's from memory.... That said I did always have the AC on Auto and my right foot was quite heavy.

Still I'm now enjoying 36mpg in my new car lol Considerably less when floored (23mpg) constantly

You should contact Citroen and get some money as an advertising example.

Evening all, Sheffield Sth Yorks to St Austell Cornwall usual sightseeing all round then upto Paignton usual sights again....did 1346 miles av 61.3mpg
Very mixed driving!
M/way 70-80mph
Cornish lanes (and hills!)
20-40mph if lucky!
Town/village traffic too!
Dint think it was too shabby!
