yellow seal in windsreen!!

Hi folks, as anyone noticed in the bottom lefthand bottom corner of windsreen, a yellow spongy like seal which seem to go lighter & darker in sun???;i'm a bit miffed by it!

On inside between frame and dash? If so someone may have shoved it in there to keep the dash from rattling.

Thanx, its under the plastic dash up corner between windscreen... thing is it was a demonstration model when i brought it last year only 9,000 miles, woudn' t of thort that wud b done!!

Mine has card rammed into the rearview mirror surround to stop that rattle.
