I just checked my email and found a lovely one waiting for me from Citroen telling me that my DS3 THP is alive and has left the factory!

I can barely contain my excitement! I might make it to Cornwall in time for Easter after all!

You should make it for Easter, I don't know what boat they use but mine took four weeks from the "Left the Factory" message, but belive me it will be worth waiting for !!!.

I'm still waiting for that email, still keep checking but still only got the "thank-you for your order, we have placed a Factory order" one from about the 3rd of March

Well as a guide, I received my "Thank you for your order email" on 18th February. Yours should be due to built in about a week I would have thought.

I've just had a call to say my car should be arriving at the dealer tomorrow and have arranged to go and collect next Tuesday!

I feel sick with excitement and the chances of being able to concentrate on work for the rest of the day are nil.

Happy days, and only 14 since it leaving the factory! I might get mine by Aprils end at this rate, damn all the Bank Holidays though :@

Well the day finally came!

Yesterday I picked up my DS3. I love it to bits and is far better than I thought.

Having been used to driving an aging Vectra, the toys and performance are everything I dreamed of.

As usual though, I'm never lucky when buying goods. Today I found a scratch on the driver's door that has been hastily repaired with some touch up paint. The fact that I only spotted it today despite having a good look around at the dealer and again when I arrived home tells you how hard it is to spot. It was only when I approached the car in bright sunshine that it jumped out at me. I know it's there now though so hopefully I can get it sorted.

I've emailed the dealer because I know the salesman isn't there today. The problem is, I'm now in Cornwall for a few weeks so hopefully I can have it repaired down here at a different dealer or they will agree to book me in at home when I get back.

I've attached some pics. I'm not being really fussy here am I?

Have you emailed them the photo so they know you have spotted it within the fisrt days of owning it? Rather than going away and then saying it happened. Just don't want them to say it couldn't have happnened anytime between when you picked it up and when they take a look at it.

Yeah good point WTF, defo send them a pic in an email, and confirm the date that you spotted it. Depends how good your dealer is cos it could be easy for them to wriggle out of it with a 'wasnt like that when you picked it up' line! Its important you get it sorted properly because its on a crease line and could be liable to rust not too far down the line.

Hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.
