SMEG

Hi

I just buy the new Smeg tactile screen complete to my DS3, but Im having one little problem, were in my dealer no one can tell me what parts I need to buy.
Anyone were with a VIN from a DS3 with SMEG, have acess to the parts and can tell me please what I need from them, I think the part I need is this part:



If somebody can help me with is and tell me the part number of this plastic, but I know its will not be only that, the backside for sure have to be different then mine, for fit the unit and the buttons, its very sad that my country dealers are so poor, I been in 2 of them and none of them help me with this thing.

What part do you allready have? only the touchscreen? And what system is currently installed in your car?

You'll need at least:
- Screen
- Headunit & button pannel(and the cable between them)
- Video cable
- mid dasboard pannel & glovebox

I buy the SMEG complete, so I have the touchscreen, the headunit with all cables and the panel buttons. My current system now its a RD4, so no GPS, I only know I have to buy the dashboard for the screen, but for that part I know the part number.

My problem its for the mid dashboard panel, in the dealers they cant tell me the ref partnumber for that part, and if I will need another different part for the back too, to fit the unit and buttons.

Okay I've checked the http://service.citroen.com/ site and I've found this:



If I understand it correctly you don't need to buy part 1 on the first picture because they are all the same for all radio combinations(RD4/RD5/RT6/SMEG)
I think you'll need to buy part 4 & 5 on the second picture, so part numbers:
- 8252 01
- 98 111 136 XT

Please let me know your progress on your project. I'm currently also looking into switching over to a SMEG system(coming from a RT6)

I think u are right about that 2 parts on the second picture, it will be necessary that parts and plus the the part 7 I think will be too.

But for the part 1 I think in the picture are wrong, because in cars with smeg units that panel are different because of the buttons, ill post some pictures I find now in google of a DS3 interior wrap, when its easy to see what I talking

After buying a DS3 we can check all its features but there is a problem in its steering wheel that the dealer won’t tell us. Particularly pay to write essay is a complaint forum to consider the complaints.
