  • Eco mode not working

    Hi guys,

Recently my Eco mode has randomly stopped working. Whenever I come to a stop all it does is flash but never actually shuts off the engine. I have drove about 200 miles since its stopped working as I thought the battery may be low at first but I'm not sure now. There are no lights on the dash at all and it's definitely turned on. It doesn't feel sluggish at start up or any different to drive. I've had the car about 8 months now from new.

Anyone think they may have an idea on what I can do/what the problem is?

    Thanks for all the help.

    James

Sorry no, a while back a list of all the variables was posted on the forum, these outlined the checks that the stop/start went through each time before it engaged. It might help you but I have it on my diesel DS3 and it engages during my 11 mile drive to work so it sounds like yours may have an issue if you haven't turned it off (the switch to the right of the steering column).

If it were me I'd get it back to Citroen for a check under warranty.

Have you got a link to that forum page? Thanks for the advice.

2nd for taking it to Citroen, if you've driven it for a fair distance and its not kicking in, there is something not quite right. Especially as it used to work, so you know how and when it should kick in under the right circumstances.

3rded our car barely moves (it's just over 8k and it'll be 2 years in October) and the stop start system has always engaged correctly unless it was either middle of winter or you'd just started the car.
