Advice needed please - New car dilemma

Right, Need some outsiders opinions on this. Worried I will just listen to my heart and not my head!!:rolleyes:
I put a deposit on a DS3 90 Black edition. Agreed a bit of a discount so did the deed.
They rang me 2 days later stating they couldn't source one. I said I would hang on, alternatively a white edition would do.
Next day they call me to say they are still looking but cant get hold of either.
They have offered me a DStyle at the same discount. It would be a new car built to order.
My option is a White DStyle with Black roof(my preference). Chrome Mirrors. White dash and upgraded alloys to the Black 17s. Total configurator price is £14,850. I can have this at the same price as my discounted Black edition. What do you think?

I know what you are going through! I was SO confused as to what to get. Pretty sure everyone I know was pleased to hear an end of, white with black? black or white dash? Blue roof? etc

I personally would say go for it. What are you confused about? (need help with) The way I see it, is that you are getting more for your money?

Well that is what I am trying to confirm. Although the Black edition had the roof stripe things. Its a bigger discount as the car is made to order. The white edition has the bucket seats tho :S

There are no White are Blacks Hdi's left in the network expect for showroom stock which the dealer can't do because of your discount. Best bet is to go with the DStyle option or hold out until the next special Edition is launched, but I don't know when that is.

I asked for Black edition or White edition. Cant have either, so now have White Dstyle configured to match White minus the seats. (But Black roof instead as I like the Black on white effect.

No packs. As they dont come on the Black/White editions either. Cant afford to add any extras, as its at the top of my budget as is. Was planning on a 4 year old Alfa 159 before I saw the DS3.....
They are soooooo rare at the minute as well, which was what I liked about the 159, full economy is a BI$%H tho on the 159!

I agree is your chance to get as much as you can for the best price ask for the world see what they will give you....

I'd sort the car out on the configurator with the options you want, give them spec and tell them you want a grand off list (which is probably what you'd get buying off the internet). They'll say no but hopefully come back with about £850 off list price. That's what I got off - some others may have done even better?

the dstyle seats are still nice, is this is your main concern? You are getting a black roof which is what i would have ordered if you could have got extras on the white edition. must admit not sure what i would do, i wud be disappointed too! go for the upgraded seats see if they will do them in the price then no probs

im getting just over a grand off list price on the setup. They wouldnt budge any more. And i cant afford anymore so I think i am getting the best I can. Dont want to lose the deal either as another dealer prob wouldnt give that level of discount. I suppose they are doing the decent thing by sticking with the original price agreed
