Service before car goes back?

Hi guys, been a long time since I posted!

I've currently got a DS3 DSport which ive had as a lease for the past 3 years and needs to go back by the end of July. Question though, do I need to service it before it goes back? I guess the answer is yes but it feels like a bit of a sting in the tail paying £250 for a service days before it goes.

On the upside we agreed a deal on a 13 plate Dsport+ today, all being well we'll have it in a couple of weeks

If the service is do then you need to get it done before you give it back.

Yeah what cyclone said If it's due and you don't have it done I expect you'll be charged even more than the service fee

I thought that to be honest! What about the MOT though, it was a brand new car when i got it and it says first MOT due by 14th August which is the last day of my contract (it'll probably go a few weeks before), would you get it MOT'd too?

We're getting a new one from our local dealer so i think i might be cheeky and ask if they'll do the service & MOT for the 3+ year price of £175 rather than £350!

If you're buying a new car from them, see if they'll throw in the service & MOT anyway.

Don't forget that the car will also require a MOT.
