Hi all, new on here so bear with me. Esp light alarm come on whilst on the M11. had it recovered and turns out to be number 2 cylinder injector over current I have removed the injector and ordered recon from Cambs injector services. when I fit the new one does it have to be programmed at a garage or can it be done with my scanner? Thanks in advance for any info. Car has only done 20k

I fitted an injector to a 110hdi with only 20k also, I searched Lexia high and low for injector classifications and configuration but couldn't see any options for it. Car runs spot on and injector correction was perfectly in line with the other readings, these Siemens ecu must auto adapt the injectors I'd presume.
90 hdi are Bosch so these may need coding in.

Thanks for that Jamie, I went to pick up the injector and it was a Bosch (different to mine) mine is Siemens VDO he ordered me the correct one , brought it home and fitted it, cleared the existing codes and started up. Car ran as smooth as silk, asked a local mobile mechanic to check it with his Solus unit and nothing shown, Result! Today I called into the Citroen dealer in Bury St Edmunds and asked the question re programming and they said it had to go on the computer otherwise it will run rough, it doesn't. I think you are right regarding Siemens unit self setting.

D Sport injector

Its happened again on injector 3, has Citroen said anything about Siemens injectors failing.
Son had this with a Passat with Siemens injectors and was done by VAG free even though it was out of warranty.
