Hi All,
Had my ds3 for more than a month now and getting used to it. I can feel the car almost bonding to me when I get in, those wonderful leather seats really envelope you. Have pushed it a bit on some straights and can certainly feel the responsiveness promising much once the engine loosens up.
Has anyone got the proper 0-60, top speed figures? I know they are not conclusive but I am sick of reading in media reviews that 0-60 and top speed are only "claimed" or "on paper at least". I am asking for figures verified by members for the ds3 1.6 thp ultra prestige.
This car has brought a smile to my face whenever I get in it. It is a fun car, ride is good, holding on corners is good, pace and cruising are also good. I like the look of the car and don't think the styling is o. t .t.
At the moment I have an average of 40 mpg with mixed driving, bound to improve with more miles on the clock. Overall very pleased with my choice and looking forward to more miles ahead.
I am not going to map it or personalise it in any way, simply keep it original, let's face it , it doesn't exactly look boring to start with.

I completely disagree with the need to remapping cars. Frankly, if they had intended it to go faster than stock, they would obviously made it faster from factory!

Thanks for the update Glad to hear you are getting along well! Mine is at the garage today and it felt like I was going to fall out of the seats in the Ce3 going around a corner! Miss my DSport ones!

I'm sure there are lots of 165 owners out there that can help with stats

It's good fun isn't it? Mine is getting booked in for remap soon though!

Sounds great. My advice would be keep sctum bout the remap if your still in warranty

Having just changed from a DSport 155THP which I had from new for 3 years to a new Prestige 165THP which I've had for 3 weeks I fully understand the enjoyment! The new one actually 'feels' a quicker/smoother ride though I'm not one to physical time the 0 - 60. It really doesn't bother me what the figures are - 'Some' cars are quicker, but 'many' are not - and like my previous DS3 it is no slouch at all !

Interesting, because my Prestige was loaded up with extras like the 'watch strap leather seats'/ 'matching dash/leather colour' / 'matching colour alloys' / pearl white paint / metallic topaz roof/mirrors - it's very nearly an Ultra - it just doesn't have a camera and patterned roof/mirrors !

I am liking this car more each time I get in. Okay, the armrest is a bit of an a*re, I leave mine up most of the time. I won't be going down the remap route because I can't afford all the other things needed to go with the extra hp, brakes-suspension-lsd etc.
Anyway around the merry roads of Hampshire - Surrey there are more Mr policeman anti speed gadgets than Mr policemen. Also, I find it quite rapid enough. Mike.

Welcome Mike! Great thing about our DS3s is that we can do as little or as much as we like to this great car. You`re in Bordon,I`m in Alton,be great to check out our cars sometime....another DS3 in Hampshire,Yes!
