  • Question on auto ligts

First time using my new DS3 in the dark last night. Auto lights came on no probs, but when i parked up and locked the car the lights stayed on?

Do i have to turn them off then back to auto the following day??

Did the lights stay on or did they switch off after a short time?

Sounds like the "guide me home" function to me.

Auto and they should just turn off when you lock the car

Our auto lights were switched on the day the car arrived and are never off but they normally go off with the engine. You had a look at your guide me home lights settings in the on board computer?

Set them in the parameters menu to to stay on from 15 seconds upwards after you have taken the key out. Or you can pull the light stalk towards you after you have switched the engine off and they will stay on for 30 seconds or so.

Yeah sounds like guide me home. Go to the Driving section on the system, then setting/options and you'll see lighting, then guide me home.

                    Did they go out eventually?

Yes, i think i had the duration for them to stay on at 60 seconds, changed it to 15, all good!

No you don't, they are called guide me home lights. You can set the to stay on for 60 secs, 30 secs or 15 secs you can lasso turn the feature off.
