  • Asr/esp fault after long stand.

Moved the Ds3 for the 1st time in a fortnight just now, did a couple of big stops to try and clean the discs up as it was grinding terribly. Lo and behold ASR/Esp fault light, switched it off and switched it on again still there. Switched it off a second time and it's gone but only one of the rear discs has cleaned up other is still orange mainly? Any ideas?

Might need to top up brake fluid. Mine displayed the alarm even when above the lower fluid level marking.
If there's plenty of fluid, then you might have a faulty asr/esp module.

I took it out again in the evening all appears to be working and the fault log is empty though it doesn't appear the rear brakes are applying evenly given one disc is still shiny but the other hasn't cleaned up.

Will check the levels but perhaps one the calipers was a bit sticky.
