  • Mirrorlink O M G!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just spent an hour sitting in my car trying to use Mirrorlink and it's just NOT happening....it goes through all the motions but just will not link. I have been on the Citroen Mirrorlink page and according to the info there my Note 4 is compatible.....it's driving me insane!!!! Can anyone help before I test out the airbags on this car by driving myself into a brick wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We could try and help...

You would first need to provide us with some more details as to what you're attempting to do and what happens with any error messages or warnings in between.

Edit: Have you been to Citroen to ensure you have the latest firmware with support for the Note4?

Engaging your airbags is actually a fix. It needs to be jolted.

If I recall correctly, you need a 35mph head-on collission to engage the airbags sufficiently enough to wake MirrorLink up.

      Hope that helps.

Hahahaha - whilst not very helpful, that actually made me LOL Mike.

First I plug my phone in and go to my phone options and click on Mirrorlink.... see image 1 (but note there are no applications showing in the list) then a few things happen. The screen on my phone goes black and on the screen it says "your phone and car are connected by mirror link" (see image 2) but nothing happens on my car touchscreen. Sometimes the screen says Mirrolink connecting (image 3) but it just sits there and nothing happens. Then sometimes I get a message on the car screen saying" Mirrolink functionality activated please make sure Bluetooth is switched on" but still nothing happens or appears on the car screen. If I go into source the Mirrorlink icon is now lit but if I click on it it just takes me back to my Radio station screen

Never had the chance to try Mirror Link but from my understanding you need to connect the bluetooth first. Now connect the phone via USB and then press 'Connected Services' from the dashboard. Next step is to press 'Mirrorlink' to start the connection, once that is done you then start the app on the phone and then fingers crossed it all pairs up.

One other thing, make sure you have an app loaded into your phone for use with Mirrorlink such as RockScout.

Ok...I have now managed to establish a connection between the phone and the car but it will not replicate my phone screen on the car screen...I click on Rockscout and it connects bit I see nothing on the car screen

Anyone got a newer DS3 with support for this and the corresponding page for the owners manual we can check to see if we're missing anything?

There's very little in the owner's. Manual

I've given up on Mirrolink now. I only really wanted it for my music mainly so am now using the Jukebox function in the car which is pretty cool. Have transferred most of my music to this and I am now a happy camper!!

Ok, I ordered mirror link but had no idea what is was. I've also not any idea what juke box and how you access. I have used CarPlay successfully though and use that all the time for Apple Music.

Jukebox is basically like having a hard drive on your car stereo. Copy all your music to a memory stick, put the memory stick in the USB port on the car and then just copy your music over onto Jukebox. You then have your music stored in the cars memory. I believe jukebox has 8gb's of memory
