Cheap air freshener refill

So I get her everyone knows about the DS3's built in air freshener.

I've been looking to try and get a cheap refill somewhere so I decided to buy Lidl air freshener for the vents. Took the plastic top with the 'wick' out and put the foam from the ds3 air freshener into it. Leave for a few hours to absorb and you have a nice refilled air freshener.

£2.50 for a pack of 3 bottles of sea breeze fragrance. Smells nice too.

Had to correct that. But yeah you just need to place the foam back into the ds3 cartridge towelling off the excess liquid with kitchen roll and it's done :redface:

Nice tip! My ds3 didn't come with an air freshener 😭 So I need to add that to my shopping list.

It's worth it, hate dangly air fresheners, lots of people comment how nice it smells and don't realise the air freshener is in the dash. I may order another cartridge from Citroen, use that and when that's done fill it with olbas oil for when I have a blocked nose, love the smell of it.

Tried searching for them but all that came up is air wick air fresheners :confused: will have to order some of them, handy to have if you fancy a change of scent
