Hi everyone,
Took my DS3 for a short road trip to Amsterdam and it was great (I mean the drive
) If you've got time you can check the vlog here https://youtu.be/UCDt_kpa29Q (feel free to leave feedback)
Now going back to the journey, I own 2013 DS3 90bhp diesel and it was a dream to drive. Only owned the car for a year but drove quite a lot on long distance and it extremely comfortable and reliable.
I've seen some people asking here and group FB page every now and again whether to buy it or not, if you ask me it is definitely a YES!
I drove it on autobahns last year and it is extremely fun and pretty quick for 90bhp so you won't feel it is a slow journey. I did around 700 miles last weekend, over 8 hours one way and didn't feel uncomfortable at any point.
Regarding mileage it was all going great in the UK on the way to Folkestone, had around 68mpg but abroad when the speed limit was higher it dropped to 62.7 for total journey which I guess it's still not bad at all.
Cost of that sort of road trip? Had a full tank when leaving (spent £40 to make it full before leaving), got to Amsterdam with around 215 miles range and topped it up on my way back in Belgium (25 EUR) so total fuel cost didn't exceed £60.
Anyway I'll be doing more road tripping (and videos) so if you're interested let me know and I will post here about mileage, cost, destination etc. and also if you have any weekend road trip recommendations please let me know!
