I wouldn't have thought it was possible unless you had a lot of £££ and the right person. Haven't heard of this being done before. I've got one in my car and I find it annoying as its hard to see out of it at night, you can literally see dim headlights.
BMW produce good ones as they go to a blueish tint under bright car headlights and acts as a normal mirror at night, Rather than the DS3 one which goes really dark.
Also this is involved heavily with the car as it brightens at night when you engage reverse gear, also connects with the lights and i'd imagine there's a sensor from the auto lights which it uses too.
