        Good luck!

You'll need a high to low frequency converter if you're using the standard headunit. The most difficult bit is getting through the bulkhead and splicing the correct wires. Start with those first.

Yes mate, Done that ive got it through the bulk head on the drivers side and just wiring it up now, Ive also found a good live on/off for remote, Think the brake switch will do?

High to low frequency converter? Oh

How else were you intending on getting input to your amplifier?

I ran a remote wire in the cars I've done from the blue signal wire at the back of the headunit, this is what's usually used universally.

Yeah sorry I have that, I call it the box! lol

I tried to but its constantly live so Im wiring it to the switch, Really not sure how it will go I will end up disconnecting it all no doubt and throw it in the bin!!

What brand/model speaker & amp have you got?

Where are you running your live from? Are you certain you've spliced the correct wires for the frequency converter? Have you separated your signal and power wires so they don't run alongside one another?

Yeah there running one both sides of the car. The main live from battery, Remote from brake light switch and the converter from back of head unit.
I have a infinity sub with a pioneer amp. I know they rumble because I seen it working in my mates car..
Tha base is inconsistent and just shit. maybe I need a equalizer?

Are you losing power to the amp at all? Check your ground and ensure it's a clean connection.

Open up the converter and check for any loose/crap connections.

Check the electrical throughput of your connections with a voltmeter.

What's the power output of the sub and amp?

if im honest with the sub and amp I don't know, I will open the box up and check, The earth is on the boot catch so looks good. The sub have a perm live feed when ign on.
I will do this and come back to you bud

Have you also tested both the sub & amp outside of the car so you know how good they can potentially sound?
