  • It's Friday's Daft Question Time ....

It's about the accelerator on my DS3. If i press it 3/4 of the way down and the pedal moves smoothly. However, the last 1/4 there's a slight delay/click when i press the accelerator down to the carpet. Maybe a quirk of the car, i don't know, but any ideas anyone?

It's a safety feature. It's to "push through" the limiter when you have it activated, so you can go faster when it should suddenly be needed.

Also used to drop a gear in automatics.

edit: Or to engage NOS in DF10 KVW unless the owner has since formatted the map.

Reading your handbook would have answered your question and you would also know how all other stuff works in your car too.

Yeah, those lazy people, using a web based technical forum to facilitate drinking from the well of knowledge.
