DS3 New owner, questions regarding EMy Way

Hello Experts,

I've just purchased a low mileage DS3 Dark Light and have a few questions regarding the EMy Way sat nav media system.

Is there a power off function for the radio and mp3 player?

Is it just a question of reducing the volume or is there a standby function?

What do you do if you are playing music from a USB stick, change the function to radio and mute it?

Yeah, there is no off button.... volume all the way down is the only way to make it quiet. Not sure on the other question. I'm still rocking the 90s orange and black pixel screen.

I'm pretty sure if you press both the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time it mutes it if your on radio or pauses when using USB. It works on the orange and black screen in mine so I'd give it a go for the eMyway

No, just mute

Hold both volume buttons at the same time to action the mute, works on both dash and stalk buttons

Just do the same.

Does yours still have the wrap?

How many remote fobs came with yours? I only received one and I'm not sure if I should have received 2. Can someone confirm?

I had to order my second remote additionally. Only one was included in the standard package.

Mine still has 'the wrap' I was a bit ambivalent about it at first but I living with it for a few days and it has definitely grown on me.

The car only has 1 remote fob and an ordinary key.

I read somewhere that only cars that have an alarm fitted have 2 remote type keys.

Interesting that you bought your Dark Light this week.

I purchased mine from Evans Halshaw in the last week, that had 2 for sale at the same time.

I'm wondering if yours was the other one?

Does yours have an undertray below the engine bay?

That is funny. Yes I did buy mine from EH. I also called Arnold Clark somewhere in Scotland about one they had for sale, but they were difficult about moving it somewhere local and I found the guy irritating so I gave up on them.

I haven't looked under the engine bay, but I guess I will do soon.

Did EH service yours before you bought it? They've provided me with an invoice as proof, but haven't stamped the book.

Citroen is too cheap to provide 2 keys with buttons..saving them at least 50p per car.

Yes, it was serviced according to the stamp in the book.

Mine came with two full keys


Re OP question. You can mute with both volume buttons as suggested, and you can also turn the screen off in the settings but it's a faff.

Yes but yours is a 20 grand list price car...ours was only a mere 17 grand so didn't get an alarm. It's an anti theft device really even if I dropped the key beside the car in the carpark no one would believe it wasn't the key for a C1.
