    Hi all

    Can anyone help me set-up DashCommand with MPG my 2010 DS3

    My car is show 48.7 MPG and DashCommand is 43.5?

      Also might be down to not resetting both at the same time. But I wouldn't be surprised if the car shows over what you actually achieve as I do a mix of economy, traffic, and thrashing and still have 38 mpg apparently.

            The problem with working out MPG is that there are so many different factors which all have an effect.

            Does the fancy Dashcommand take into account the outside air temperature, does the onboard system take into account load in the boat, does either take into account tyre wear and pressure. No of course not.

            The issue with MPG is that you can never get a full accurate figure, you can only ever get an estimate, which is what the onboard computer is doing. It's counting the amount of fuel put through to the engine over the mileage driven.

            Why do you think the official tests are done in a lab, that way they can control the environment.

              Miles driven divided by fuel used. Does not get any simpler.

              But that actually requires doing some math! OMG!!!!
